Its a cold time of year. The last few nights there has been very heavy frost. Its important to be feeding the birds at this time of the year, with less insects its important to leave them some food.
I am busy with work clearing up the leaves of Autumn and digging over beds to allow the frost to break it down. Its also been good to relay some bark on the beds doing this every couple of years keeps the weeds down.
Its a great time of year to tidy up the garden and think about what needs to be done in the spring.
